Background: Hamish joined Fern Ridge Fresh at the onset of the company and has been involved in the produce industry for more than 40 years. His extensive knowledge and experience helps make Fern Ridge Fresh a world-leading apple exporter.
Kurt Livingston
Export Sales Executive
Markets: North America, Middle East, China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Caribbean.
Background: Kurt joined the Fern Ridge Fresh team in 2017, having grown up on an orchard he has always had a passion for produce. Kurt is responsible for sales in multiple countries around the globe and is well versed in understanding international markets and supply chain management – he works closely with both NZ Growers/Packers and international customers providing the best possible outcome for both parties.
Renee Nicholl
Key Programme Coordinator
Zespri Kiwifruit Collaborative Marketing Sales
Markets: Reunion Island, Mauritius, Miami
Background: Renee joined the Fern Ridge Fresh team in 2018 and has a wealth of experience in produce sales and logistics. She runs our KNZ programme, in conjunction with Zespri for Kiwifruit exported to the Caribbean, Mauritius, and Reunion. Renee also oversees all the logistical requirements for our key customer programmes worldwide.

Petra Rees
Office Manager
Background: Petra joined Fern Ridge Fresh team in 2018 and has an extensive background in financial accounting specifically within the agricultural and horticulture industries, her wealth of knowledge has been a welcome addition to the team. Petra also oversees the administrative team; HR & H&S as well as the general day to day running of our office.

Fredy Masterson
Post Harvest & Logistics Co-Ordinator
Background: Fredy joined the Fern Ridge Fresh team in 2023, bringing with her a range of organisation and logistics skills. Having ample experience within pack house/cool stores, she uses this knowledge to work closely with our producers to plan & coordinate export loadouts. Fredy also oversees all domestic market sales which includes a variety of different produce, continuing to grow our brand and awareness within NZ. From 2025 Fredy will be focusing on export sales.

Sammy Lee
Logistics Coordinator
Background: Sammy has worked for Fern Ridge Fresh in a seasonal shipping and logistics role since 2022. We are excited to have Sammy join our team as a permanent member from 2025. Sammy’s attention to detail and positive attitude plus her extensive industry logistical experience makes her the perfect person for coordinating export orders between Packhouses, Coolstores, and respective Ports of NZ.
